Connected office in Courbevoie - redundant fibre and acoustic booths

Redundant fibre (two backup carriers), Wi-Fi 6 and ethernet everywhere, two acoustic booths for confidential calls. Connectivity is the infrastructure you should never have to think about - here, it's sized to never let you down.

4-person acoustic booth for confidential calls - Zecoworking Courbevoie

Why connectivity is non-negotiable

You run eight video calls a day, your sales rep does their client demo at 2pm, your DPO needs to sign a contract remotely. If the fibre drops mid-call, you don't get the client back. For a four-person company, twenty minutes of network downtime in the day isn't an incident - it's a disaster.

That's why we've sized the network like a production environment, not like a casual coworking. Two independent fibre links, two carriers, automatic failover on outage. If one drops, the other picks up without you noticing.

What's included in your connectivity

  • 1 Gbps symmetric fibre - primary carrier
  • Secondary fibre link from a different carrier - automatic failover
  • Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) covering the entire floor
  • RJ45 ethernet ports in every private office
  • Dedicated VLAN and separate SSIDs for each tenant company
  • Firewall and network monitoring managed by our IT provider
  • Two 4-person acoustic booths for calls and interviews

How redundancy works

Concretely: if carrier A suffers an outage (DSL incident, maintenance, mains power failure on their side), the router switches automatically to carrier B in under five seconds. You might drop a call mid-switch, but you're not offline - you call back and you're up, where elsewhere you'd lose the entire afternoon.

On Wi-Fi, we've favoured Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) with access points positioned to cover the floor without dead zones. For sensitive uses - multi-participant video calls, large file transfers - you can plug in via ethernet directly in your office, guaranteed bandwidth. Each tenant has their own VLAN: your traffic never crosses that of other companies on the floor.

The acoustic booths: what for

Two enclosed 4-person booths, acoustically isolated, equipped with a power socket and a screen. They're for the calls you can't hold in open space: sales meeting where you negotiate a price, job interview, HR check-in, conversation with an investor. No booking, no badge, no quota - you take the booth when you need it. For group video calls of more than 4 people, the meeting room takes over.

Things you'll never have to deal with again

No carrier contract to sign, no router to configure, no Wi-Fi asking for a different password from every visitor, no ethernet cable to pull yourself with a Stanley knife through the false ceiling. You connect your laptop, your team joins the SSID dedicated to your company, and that's it. If something fails, our IT provider intervenes - not you on your work time.

Frequently asked questions

Is it really 1 Gbps fibre, or just marketing?

It's really 1 Gbps symmetric on the primary link (download AND upload), measured via speedtest. Symmetry matters for video calls and large file uploads - many so-called '1 Gbps' fibres are actually 1 Gbps down / 200 Mbps up, which doesn't hold under multi-participant video calls. Here it's symmetric.

Do you handle corporate VPNs?

Yes, no problem. The network passes standard VPN protocols (IPsec, OpenVPN, WireGuard) without specific configuration. For exotic setups (cloud VPN with static routing on the server side, for instance), our network provider can step in if needed - rarely required in practice.

What happens if both carriers go down at the same time?

Honestly, it happened once in the area (massive Orange outage in 2024 that hit the metro network). In such cases, we fall back the Wi-Fi SSID onto a 5G hotspot that covers all critical uses (video calls, messaging, cloud access). It's not 1 Gbps, but it's enough not to lose the day.

How many people in an acoustic booth?

Four maximum. Beyond that, it's uncomfortable and the acoustics lose effectiveness. For 5 people or more, the meeting room takes over (10 seats, TV screen, independent A/C).

Can I host my own server on your network?

Not as standard. The network is designed for workstations and cloud use, not for hosting public-facing services. If you have a specific need (dev server that has to be reachable externally, shared NAS), let us know - we can consider a custom config with port forwarding and a static IP, subject to feasibility.

Is the Wi-Fi secure?

Each company has its own SSID with a dedicated WPA3 password and its own VLAN at router level. Your traffic never crosses that of other tenants. For occasional guests (clients on appointment), an isolated guest SSID is available - internet access only, no visibility on the internal network.

Want to see the infra before you sign?

We invite you to plug in your laptop on site during a visit, run a speedtest, try the Wi-Fi, listen to the silence inside a booth. Twenty minutes on site to check it holds up against what we say here, beats a PDF tech spec.
